Takasaki Daruma 12 cm – Traditional Japanese Lucky Charm
The Takasaki Daruma is a traditional craft from Gunma Prefecture, the region that produces the largest number of Daruma dolls in Japan. Its rounded shape symbolizes the spirit of “Nanakoro bi Yaoki” — fall down seven times, stand up eight — representing perseverance, determination, and success.
This Daruma is a signature product of Takeuchi Daruma Shop. One of its most distinctive features is the design of the face: the eyebrows are shaped like a crane and the beard like a turtle, both powerful symbols of longevity and good fortune in Japanese culture.
Each piece carries a heartfelt wish for happiness and prosperity. Place it in your daily living space as a symbol of your goal. When your wish comes true, fill in the second eye as a gesture of gratitude.
