A complete set of Hasami-yaki ceramics designed by artist KEN IKEDA, presented in a paulownia wood box. Hasami-yaki is a ceramic tradition from Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan, with a history of over 400 years.

The set brings together seven pieces bearing KEN IKEDA's designs. Whether displayed as a collector's piece or used at the table, it makes an exceptional gift.

How it's made

One-of-a-kind works by the artist

Every ICBA piece is made by hand and exists only once. KEN IKEDA paints his wave panels with acrylic ink and spray paint, reimagines the traditional daruma as contemporary art dolls, and brings his designs to Hasami ware, a Nagasaki porcelain tradition of over 400 years. Nothing is repeated, so the piece you see is the piece you receive.
