Discover the artistry of Hasami ware through this curated complete set by artist SHIGAMIKI. Each piece is hand-crafted in Hasami, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan — a region with over 400 years of ceramic tradition — and features SHIGAMIKI's distinctive illustrative designs.

The set includes seven ceramic pieces elegantly presented in a dedicated paulownia wood (kiri) box with custom urethane foam inserts, ensuring safe storage, gifting, and transport.

  • Soba Cups (×2): Ø 85 mm / H 67 mm
  • Small Plates (×2): Ø 105 mm / H 20 mm
  • Tokkuri Sake Bottle (×1): Ø 70 mm / H 128 mm
  • Sake Cups (×2): Ø 45 mm / H 44 mm
  • Paulownia Box: W 350 mm × H 230 mm × D 118 mm

The paulownia box logo colour is assigned at random. This set makes an exceptional gift for lovers of Japanese ceramics, sake culture, or traditional craftsmanship.

Handmade ceramic item — slight individual variations in colour and pattern are a natural characteristic of the craft.

How it's made

One-of-a-kind works by the artist

Every ICBA piece is made by hand and exists only once. KEN IKEDA paints his wave panels with acrylic ink and spray paint, reimagines the traditional daruma as contemporary art dolls, and brings his designs to Hasami ware, a Nagasaki porcelain tradition of over 400 years. Nothing is repeated, so the piece you see is the piece you receive.

About the maker

ICBA
