Iwatsuka Kinako Beika – Traditional Japanese Roasted Soybean Rice Cracker
IWATSUKA’s “Kinako” Beika is a traditional Japanese rice cracker delicately coated with roasted soybean flour (kinako). This vegan snack reflects the simplicity and elegance of Japanese confectionery craftsmanship.
Each crisp cracker is dusted with aromatic kinako, offering a warm, nutty flavor balanced by the gentle sweetness of traditional Japanese-style sugar. The texture is light and crunchy, with a refined sweetness that makes it both comforting and distinctive.
Vegan recipe.
How it's made
Rice crackers from Japanese rice
BEIKA crackers are made only with rice grown in Japan, chosen for its freshness. Each flavour has its own finish: tamari soy sauce and coarse sugar for Teriyaki, whole black soybeans steamed and baked into the cracker for Black Bean, and a dusting of roasted soybean flour for Kinako. High-barrier packaging keeps them crisp all the way to Europe.
