Bring the deep, aromatic flavour of traditional Japanese dashi to your kitchen with Kaneshichi Yaki Ago Dashi — a premium granule soup stock made from roasted flying fish (ago) sourced from Nagasaki, Japan.
Flying fish is prized for its lean, firm flesh, which yields a beautifully clear broth with a delicate natural sweetness. Kaneshichi slow-roasts the fish using far-infrared heat, concentrating its umami and adding a gentle, toasty aroma. This is expertly balanced with bonito extract, kelp extract, and shiitake extract for a layered, full-bodied dashi.
